Steve is a 4th generation family farmer. He has been married to Mary Jacob for 25
years with 4 children & 1 grandson. Steve knows the importance of small business as the owner of 3 successful family operated
businesses; Jacob Hill Farm, Quality Firewood, & Jacob Hill Estates.

Proud
of our Winona County Century Farm Heritage and transitioning it to the 5th generation... Steve and Mary's 23 year
old son Trent is actively beef farming & has recently moved into the 130 year old original log cabin built by Steve's
great grandfather, Herman Jacob in 1878.

Steve has the strongest reputation on representing
the wishes and concerns of the citizens through his actions. Steve has been instrumental in gathering the 3,000 signatures
on the recent zoning ordinance update. Steve's actions and the citizens' participation effectively challenged the
county government to slow down and listen to the citizens. If you signed the ordinance petition, Steve is your man!
